Why should you choose Utah Adoption Specialists as your adoption service provider?

We know that you have several options when deciding who to use for an adoption service provider. We always feel honored when you choose to have us be a part of your adoption journey!

For those of you who are trying to decide how to move forward in your adoption journey, here’s a few reasons why we think you should start with us!

Experience – Each caseworker/owner of Utah Adoption Specialists has at least 12 years of experience in the adoption field. All together, that’s over 50 years of adoption experience! Add on the knowledge and experience of each of our wonderful contractors, and that’s even more.

Value – FREE casework services are included in the cost of your home study with UAS. To our knowledge, we are the only adoption service provider group who offers this. Free casework means that you’ll have a knowledgeable caseworker to guide you through every step of the adoption process. Even if you decide to use an adoption agency, you’ll still have your UAS caseworker available to help you.

Compassion – We know the adoption process isn’t always easy. We’ve seen a lot in our years of service, and each caseworker knows how to provide you the compassion and understanding you need as you experience the ups and downs that your adoption journey may bring.

For those of you who have received services through UAS, what would you tell people is the #1 reason they should choose us?

Adoption Profiles: How to Make Yourself Shine!

When starting your adoption journey, there are a lot of new things to learn about and undertake. In addition to completing all the paperwork for the home study, you also need to start thinking about how to build an adoption profile and what information you are going to include there. We know that all of this can be overwhelming! All UAS clients can access their caseworker anytime for tips and feedback on their profiles, but we have a new resource we want to introduce you to as well.

Meet Pax:

Pax is a UAS client who happens to be next-door neighbors with our caseworker Lauren. After her own struggle with family building and being overwhelmed with the cost of agency adoptions, Pax turned to Lauren for education on private adoption. She learned that it is all about networking, profile building, and social media exposure. She took the basics to heart and magnified them to building a successful blog, Facebook page, and Instagram page. Through her networking efforts, Pax and her husband were able adopt three children privately in just over a year’s time!

Now, Pax is utilizing her skills to help YOU have success with online networking to assist in your journey toward a private adoption. Pax has started a free Facebook group,  This is You: Adoption Profiles That Show Who You Are, where she is providing weekly tips and profile feedback. In addition, she is offering three different packages at varying rates to help people on a one-on-one basis to make your profiles stand out. These are explained more on the Facebook page.

We encourage all of our clients to […]

Hopeful Family Spotlight: Rob and Tiffanie

Meet the Burtons!

Rob and Tiffanie Burton are hopeful adoptive parents who have a beautiful four year old daughter named Brynlee, who they adopted through a family adoption a little over four years ago. They are hoping to be able to adopt again in the near future.

Rob is an IT Security Specialist (CyberSecurity Analyst), and loves working with technology. He is a very kind, gentle, and loving father. There is nothing he would not do for their family. He is selfless, and loves to help others in many different ways. He enjoys learning, listening to music or talk tapes; he enjoys serving in his church callings and serving others; he is really smart, and loves to learn how things work, and he is always sharing facts about American or Church history or other things with his family.

Tiffanie is a wonderful and loving mother, who more than anything else loves being a mother first and foremost in her life. She also worked for a time as a Digital Media specialist, and especially loved the time she was able to be a newborn baby photographer. She also worked for seven years as a patient care assistant at Utah Valley Hospital. She is kindhearted, sweet, and gentle, and is a great example to all those around her. She values learning and education, and loves to read, both personally, and to her daughter Brynlee, and shares her love of learning with her family.

To their prospective adoptive parents, they say: “We would be so honored to know you and to welcome you. We know you love your child. We will make sure […]
